Just met you, Michael, and heafd your band at Kani Ka Pila on 10/1/11. I love your music! Your band sounds great and I love the sound of your guitar. I plan to check out your music further and I'm sure I'm going to love it! Any chance you'll make a trip over to the Portland area to play?

Love it!

Congrats on Deep Waters! Love it all. Kids love Kela Nalo, Full Circle Rainbow, Shells, and opening licks to Ka Ho'olauna--especially when we're riding in the car!
My favorite is Ua Noho Au A Kupa followed closely by Aloha Wau Leina'ala, Uamakalaukoa, and E Ho' Mai. The acoustics and uke are tight--the uke on Kela Nalo makes me say "WOW"! God Bless!!

Aloha Ikepono ( Mike),

Wow, you want my honest opinion on your Cd and I will tell you....what an beautiful CD you have put together. I know we can put several hula's to your composition.
Definitely we can compose the song dedicated to your beautiful wife Leina'ala - Aloha Wau Leina'ala, E ho'i mai and Uamakalaukoa and Ua Noho Au A Kupa. I will try to have the boys dance to the 6 to 8 beat to your mele Ka ho'olauna tomorrow in hula.....This recording definitely was excellent and really brought out your talents in your music. YOur voices blended so well and very clear. I will call you later....Thank you Mike for sharing your beautiful CD with me as I will introduce it to my Halau. I already have someone who wants to buy it already too.....God bless you, your family and Ikepono as your new journey into your music will take you on a beautiful adventure. Mahalo Nui Loa!

O wau iho no me ke aloha,

Love the new CD guys. It's a great collection of songs executed beautifully and you guys sound amazing. The harmonies are on point and the production value of the disc is top-notch. Every time I listen to it I have a new favorite, but I think "Shells" is the standout for me...then again "Ventura Highway" is super cool...or "Aloha Wau Leina'ala" or "My Sweet Lord"...IT'S ALL GOOD. Congratulations guys...it's a stellar sophomore effort and it's sure to garner lots of appreciation and attention. Malo Lava le Taumafai!!!
